Hi, I’m Katherine (Kat, Katilla the Hun, Mushy). Long-term dream of becoming a homemaker, SAHM, and steward of a cozy, largely self-sustaining homestead somewhere with trees, rain, and enough room for chickens, lots of gardens, and an absurd number of bookshelves. I’m open to relocating, even internationally, for the right man and mission. Unapologetically conservative, and genuinely desiring a Christ-centered, traditional marriage.

I’m happiest near the ocean and countryside - reading under trees, wandering barefoot through forests, sitting beside campfires, listening to wind chimes during storms, and cooking meals for ones I love. I adore seventies funk, sixties psychedelia, ABBA, classical music, and the smell of old paperback books. Passionfruit-flavoured anything has my heart.

My hobbies tend to oscillate between “slightly scholarly” and “slightly feral”. I love classical literature and Renaissance art, collect books to a concerning degree perhaps, and am fascinated by medieval Italian politics, ancient history, anthropology, geography, botany, mycology, and permaculture. I dabble in crochet, embroidery, language learning, board games, and occasionally entertain the unrealistic fantasy of sewing my own entire wardrobe one day. I also really enjoy cooking and feeding people - and have previously even prepared historically-accurate ancient feasts.

As for the kind of man I admire: intelligence, wit, decisiveness, protectiveness, and leadership skills are all deeply attractive to me. I appreciate men who are funny, prayerful, mission-minded, practical, assertive, and unafraid to take initiative. Nerdiness and outdoorsy-ness together is elite. Bonus points if you can assemble furniture without emotional collapse, survive ABBA tunes on repeat, teach me something, order confidently for me on a date, and… grow a mustache.
